Invisalign Solihull

Invisible braces for discreet teeth straightening

Invisalign® is the revolutionary way to straighten teeth discreetly. Made from a series of thin clear plastic, Invisalign sits over your teeth like a mouth guard. There’s no metal brackets or wires which means Invisalign is invisible and extremely comfortable to wear.

As well as being discreet, patients from Dorridge, Knowle and Solihull are choosing to get their teeth straightened with Invisalign because they are removable braces. Take your aligners out to enjoy all your favourite foods which makes them a more hygienic form of teeth straightening too.

How to start

Your Invisalign® journey

Your Invisalign journey starts with a free consultation.

Free Invisalign consultation in Solihull

At your free consultation, we talk through what you would like to change about your teeth and check that Invisalign is suitable for you.

We then take photos of your teeth and using an iTero scanner, we take digital 3D images of your teeth too. This special Invisalign technology means that we can see how your teeth will change as they are being straightened and how they will look once you have finished Invisalign treatment. In this way, you get to see your new smile before you even start or pay for treatment!

1. Free Invisalign consultation in Solihull

Custom-made Invisalign braces

If you decide to go ahead with Invisalign treatment, we use the digital images taken in your consultation to custom make your Invisalign clear aligners.

There are several aligners in your treatment plan and the exact number will depend upon how severe your orthodontic case is.

Your digital images are sent off to Invisalign and used to create your bespoke aligners. This process usually takes a couple of weeks before they are sent back to us in Solihull.

2. Custom-made Invisalign braces

Wear your Invisalign aligners

Once your Invisalign aligners are ready and have arrived back at Aurora Dental, we will arrange an appointment for you to see us. We will show you how to wear the first set of aligners in the series and how to take them out to brush your teeth and to eat and drink. This may seem tricky at first, but don’t worry, it soon becomes second nature.

Your Invisalign dentist will tell you how long to wear the first set of aligners before you change them and move on to the next set in the series. Usually, this happens on a weekly basis. Changing your aligners is necessary because each set is slightly different from the last one and allows for the gradual movement in your teeth.

For treatment to be successful, you must wear your Invisalign aligners for a minimum of 22 hours a day. We suggest that you only remove your aligners to brush your teeth and when you are eating and drinking anything other than cold water.

3. Wear your Invisalign aligners

Show off your new smile!

You continue to wear your Invisalign aligners until you reach the last set of aligners in your treatment plan. For some patients this might be 6 months, for others it might be 12 months.

During this time, your dentist at Aurora Dental will check in with you to ensure that your treatment is on course.

Once your Invisalign dentist is happy that you have reached the end of your treatment, you can stop wearing the aligners and show off your new smile!

Frequently Asked Questions About

How much does Invisalign cost on average in the UK?

Invisalign in the UK typically costs between £1,500 and £4,500, depending on the complexity of your case and the number of aligners required.

At Aurora Dental Solihull, our Invisalign pricing is fixed and transparent: Invisalign Express from £1,995 for minor corrections, Invisalign Lite £3,095, Invisalign Moderate £3,795, and Invisalign Full £4,295 for comprehensive cases. Every treatment includes a free consultation with iTero 3D scan, free teeth whitening, and free retainers. We offer 0% interest finance over 12 months so you can spread the cost.

7
Invisalign at Aurora Dental Solihull is priced as follows: Invisalign Express £1,995, Invisalign Lite £3,095, Invisalign Moderate £3,795, and Invisalign Full £4,295.

Every package includes a free consultation with an iTero 3D scan, free teeth whitening at the end of treatment, and free retainers to maintain your results.

We offer 0% interest finance over 12 months so you can spread the cost. Your exact treatment tier is confirmed at your free consultation based on your individual case.

How much is 4 months of Invisalign?
6
7
A 4-month Invisalign treatment is usually classified as Invisalign Express, designed for minor corrections such as small gaps, mild crowding or minor relapse after previous orthodontic work.

At Aurora Dental Solihull, Invisalign Express is priced at £1,995, which includes your free consultation, iTero 3D scan, whitening and retainers. The treatment uses up to 7 aligners and typically takes between 3 and 6 months.

A free consultation confirms whether your case is suitable for Express or whether you’d benefit from Invisalign Lite (£3,095) or a longer treatment plan.

What is the 30 minute rule for Invisalign?
6
7
The 30 minute rule means your Invisalign aligners should not be out of your mouth for more than 30 minutes at any one time, and no more than 2 hours total per day. You need to wear them for at least 22 hours a day for treatment to stay on track.

Removing them too often or for too long allows your teeth to start drifting back, which can delay your treatment and may mean ordering refinement aligners. Most patients find the easiest approach is to only remove aligners for meals and brushing.

Can Invisalign fix TMJ issues?
6
7
Invisalign can help with some TMJ (temporomandibular joint) issues when the underlying cause is related to bite alignment, such as an overbite, underbite or crossbite that puts strain on the jaw joint.

By correcting how your teeth meet, the pressure on the TMJ can reduce, easing symptoms like jaw pain, clicking or headaches. However, Invisalign is not a treatment for TMJ disorders caused by stress, arthritis or injury.

At Aurora Dental Solihull, your free consultation includes an assessment to determine whether Invisalign is appropriate for your specific situation.

How long does Invisalign take in Solihull?
6
7
Most Invisalign treatments at Aurora Dental Solihull take between 6 and 12 months, although simple cases can finish in as little as 3 months and complex cases may take up to 18 months.

Your Invisalign dentist gives you a treatment timeline at your free consultation based on your iTero 3D scan, so you know exactly how long your treatment will take before you commit.

Is Invisalign better than fixed braces?
6
7
Invisalign and fixed braces both straighten teeth effectively, but Invisalign offers several advantages for adults: the aligners are practically invisible, removable for eating and cleaning, and require fewer in-person appointments.

Fixed braces can sometimes be more effective for severely complex orthodontic cases, but for the majority of adult patients in Solihull, Invisalign delivers the same or better results with significantly more comfort and convenience.

Can I get Invisalign on finance in Solihull?
6
7
Yes, Aurora Dental Solihull offers 0% interest finance for Invisalign, spread over 12 months. There is no deposit required on most plans, and monthly payments depend on which Invisalign tier you choose. Finance is subject to a quick credit check at the time of booking.
Does Invisalign work for overbites and crowded teeth?
6
7
Yes, Invisalign treats a wide range of orthodontic issues including overbites, underbites, crossbites, gaps, and crowded teeth. As a Platinum Elite Invisalign provider, Aurora Dental Solihull treats both straightforward and more complex cases routinely.

At your free consultation, your iTero 3D scan shows you exactly how your teeth will move and what your final result will look like before you commit to treatment.

What happens if I lose an Invisalign aligner?
6
7
If you lose an aligner, contact Aurora Dental Solihull straight away. In most cases we’ll advise you to move to your next set of aligners early, or go back to your previous set if the next one isn’t ready, while we order a replacement.

Try to avoid leaving teeth without aligners for more than a day, as they can begin to shift back and disrupt your treatment plan.

Can I have Invisalign and composite bonding together?
6
7
Yes, combining Invisalign with composite bonding is one of the most popular smile makeover combinations at Aurora Dental Solihull. Invisalign first straightens the teeth into the correct position, then composite bonding refines the shape, length, and symmetry to create a polished final result.

This combination delivers a full smile transformation typically within 9 to 14 months, and is often more cost-effective and conservative than veneers.
